Plumpjack is a classic wine destination, boasting beautiful vineyards. Our tasting was set right among the grapevines, creating an intimate atmosphere. As with all tastings, we began with a refreshing blanc and gradually transitioned to darker, moodier reds, with a bonus or two along the way. If you're not a fan of red wine but want to be, I highly recommend starting with this one—it’s simple yet finely crafted and incredibly tasty.

The wine tasting table, set with menus, all needed wine glasses for each wine, and lots of water!

This was our first stop that day. While and early start for tasting wine, it was surely delicious. All the wines are so smooth it almost feels impossible. This is why I suggest trying a good red wine like this one. When I think of red wine, Plumpjack is the first to come to mind: it reminds me of dimly lit afternoons when everything has found a natural close, yet you still want good company.
They set up a menu of all the wine you would be tasting- light whites to dark reds as always- and even prepared a cheese board with crackers to munch on throughout. Our tasting lasted about two hours and some change thanks to the beautiful view which required pictures and photoshoot time
For all those souls that are gluten free or celiac, I just have to commend Plumpjack for doing an exceptional job of stressing the importance of not only just the wine experience, but also with the snacks they offered. While the snacks were secondary to the wine, they still made sure that all parties were content and safe throughout the tasting. I think this says a lot about the people behind the wine and the company itself.
Your Plumpjack host is there through it all, making sure that everyone can maximize their enjoyment.

My view from the tasting!

Miles and I also needing a pictures with the wine bottle lol.
